Nonprofit
and ONG PAS (Projeto Adote Suzano) acts in defense of Suzano-SP animals and
region, the group was formed in the union of several guards who for years
worked in the rescue and adoption of animals and decided to open the ONG to
face this issue in a more comprehensive manner.
The work
aims to rescue, care for and forward for adoption animals in risk and
abandonment situation, promoting adoption campaigns, working in public policies
for the protection of animal rights.
The work in
the entirely voluntary and open to all who want to participate, the cost of
veterinary and food are borne through such as raffles and bazaar, but also
receiving food donations, used newspapers, blankets, used towels, houses,
little beds, medicines and collars.
EXPERIENCE IN THE ONG
The group
attended the ONG Peace on 28 and 29 March at Suzano Shopping, everyone loved
the experience.
There we
sell raffle tickets to help NGOs take care of the animals, feed them with food
and water, exchanged their papers when they were “droppings”, and the best part
was to caring for those puppies and kittens as needy.
The feeling
of everyone in the group to engage in volunteer work was of great satisfaction
and pride, a great experience in helping people and animals, enjoyed and would
like to return and continue to help, as we realize the importance of helping
others. You also realize that volunteering is not well recognized, as many
think it to be just an animal does not need help.
After that
experience we have the open mind on the issue of volunteer work before not give
a damn, today we see the importance of it to the next, not to mention the love
and attachment we had with the dogs of the ONG.
